Zack Snyder has been confirmed for DC reboot

Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch) has been tapped to direct Superman: Man of Steel, which is set to release December 2012. The film is in pre-production right now as Sucker Punch is wrapping up. Superman Returns was trash, but I enjoyed Brandon Routh as Clark Kent. It will be interesting to see what comes out of the Nolan/Snyder collaboration.

It is rumored that General Zod will be the main villain in Man of Steel

The Social Network

The Social Network
Directed by David Fincher
Screenplay by Aaron Sorkin
Music by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross

Let's start by saying, "Go see this movie!" The Social Network is a story about the founders of Facebook, but it is so much more than that. It delves into friendship, temptation, greed, power, and betrayal. Network is comprised of an excellent ensemble cast, which delivers dialogue in such an amazing fashion. Sorkin's writing in and of itself makes this movie. David Fincher has done it again when it comes to directing film. With the help of Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake, Jesse Eisenberg delivers an amazing performance as Mark Zuckerberg. Eisenberg is truly coming into his own as an actor. The story, from start to finish, really grabs you and leaves you on the edge of your seat. The way that the film makes the viewer feel like a part of creating facebook is truly remarkable. The editing was spot on in this film. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross did an amazing job with the score. It brilliantly complemented the flow of the movie. A job well done. This will be up for Best Picture and Director, at the very least. Nearly perfect movie.
